Before joining the SELF team as our HEAP Coordinator, Nicci worked with the HEAP department at Warren County Community Services for 15 years.

Bob Didion grew up in Indiana where he went to college and earned a degree in Business Management and Human Resources. He has always had a passion for construction. 

Sarah Starr joined SELF as the Community Events Coordinator/Executive Assistant in November of 2021. She is responsible for planning internal and external events, organizing SELF’s Adopt-a-Family program, and supporting program staff.

Carie Schultz is an accomplished nonprofit leader and Certified Nonprofit Development Specialist (CNDS) with executive-level experience driving sustainable growth and measurable impact. Before joining SELF in January 2021, Carie served as the Executive Director of the Animal Adoption Foundation, where she increased net revenue by 60%, expanded community outreach by 50%, and enhanced operational efficiency through innovative data-driven strategies.

Gayle Drexler joined as the Program Director at SELF in April 2017. She has been a licensed social worker since 1987. Gayle is responsible for all aspects of agency programming.

Mr. Diver assumed the responsibilities in April 1996 as the first employee of the organization. He has been recognized with the Karen S. House Leadership Award for Dedication and Commitment to the Development of Leadership for Regional Collaboration by the West Chester Chamber Alliance in 2005; the Martin Luther King, Jr. Drum Major Award from the Middletown Ministerial Alliance in 2008; the President’s Award from the Middletown NAACP in 2017; and the MLK “Purpose” award by the Feed the Hungry Project in 2019.

Sharon joined SELF in April 2023 as the Money Management Coach. Sharon is an Accredited Financial Counselor AFC® and Certified Financial Education Instructor CFEI®.
