WEATHERIZATION INTAKE
SELF partners with the Miami Valley Community Action Partnership to provide weatherization services in Butler County, Ohio. Weatherization is a residential energy efficiency program that reduces energy use by reducing air infiltration and heat loss in homes. SELF serves as the Weatherization Intake Center for Butler County and Miami Valley Community Action Partnership provides the weatherization services for eligible households. Each year, that number totals more than 3,200 households.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
- Consumers whose income is at or below 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Level
- Consumers who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Consumers who qualify for or who are participants in the Percentage of Income Payment Plan Plus (PIPP)
- Renters, with their landlord’s approval, can receive weatherization services
